LED screen planning guides

Choose an LED format, prepare its content and understand how installation, playback and viewing conditions shape the proposal.

Choose the screen around the image

Begin with the people who need to read the screen and the content they will see. Detailed software demonstrations and large concert visuals do not need the same pixel canvas. Decide the visible dimensions and audience positions before treating pixel pitch as the main purchasing criterion.

Then review ambient light, any camera use and the available installation method. A screen is a system: cabinets, processing, support, cabling and operation must fit the same plan. A creative shape also changes the way a designer prepares content.

    Follow a practical order

Compare LED with projection and TV first. Shortlist dimensions and image detail, establish the supporting arrangement and ask for a complete scope. Share the final pixel map with the content team and allow a test using the intended playback sources.

Existing English guides cover pixel pitch, size and viewing distance, indoor and outdoor screens, ground support and suspension, support structures and rental cost.

    Prepare the next conversation

Send the venue plan, dates, desired dimensions and a content sample when discussing LED screen rental. Identify which values are confirmed and which still need the venue or production team to check.
