Tracking and interactive activation guides

Plan visitor interactions, choose a control method and understand participation capacity and measurement before selecting sensors.

    Define a clear guest journey

An interactive installation needs an understandable invitation, a rewarding action and a clear finish. Choose the action before the sensor: movement, touch and a phone each create different participation conditions. Decide whether the experience is individual, shared or supervised.

    Check space and throughput

Map where guests wait, participate and leave. Include explanation and reset time when estimating capacity. Lighting, obstructions and the position of other people can affect tracking, so test with the intended hardware and a realistic group.

Visitor measurement is a separate decision. Define the metric and its limitations before selecting a tool; attendance, dwell time and completed interactions describe different things. Product-specific capabilities require current confirmation.

    Prototype the important moment

A short prototype can reveal whether the action is understood and whether the queue works. Discuss interactive installations and tracking equipment with the scenario, floor plan and staffing model together.
